Upon completion of 500 hours training at BMSI Institute I began formal studies in Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Style Therapeutic Massage.

Over 200 hours of supervised apprenticeship in Lomi Lomi at On To Health Chiropractic and and Schaal Chiropractic in Overland Park, Kansas. In both locations I had the guidance and sponsorship of wonderful healers. In St.Louis, hundreds of hours were devoted to "intuitive listening." I learned to hear the body consciousness and that began a most wonderful journey for me! Today I assist my clients with "body readings", the picture-language of their Body. Together, we respond to the needs and requests of the body-Soul.

May 1997, 44 hours of Lomi Lomi Beginning and Advanced Theory and Practice with Barb Frye and Annie Thoe in Kaua'i, Hawaii.

Operated a private practice specializing in Lomi Lomi at Schaal Chiropractic in Overland Park, Kansas from July 1997 to spring of 1998.

February 1998, earned 88 hours of Advanced Lomi Lomi training in Koke'e , Kaua'i. Instructors were Joy Finch and Penny Prior

Following training in Koke'e I began a practice both in Overland Park, Kansas and Chicago, Illinois in the ancient art of Lomi Lomi. My focus was the spiritual reconnective element of Lomi Lomi, healing the Soul of the participant as well as the body. Since completion of the Rain Forest training in Koke'e my work has been traditional style Lomi Lomi, a transformational system of massage, visualization, breathwork, prayer, and chanting.

March 1999, and 2000, I produced Translucent YOU!, a six day traditional Spring Cleanse and Soul Renewal Workshop for 19 of my clients in Koloa, Kaua'i. Clients experienced an extraordinary spiritual renewal and physical rejuvenation at our Spring Cleanse. This workshop will be an annual event in Kaua'I for my personal Lomi clients, and open to the public as well. Next year Translucent YOU! will be hosted at the Sheraton Kaua'I Resort on Poipu Beach on March 4th thru March 9th, 2001.

In September 1999, I began a 168 hour, (one month) training program with Auntie Margaret Machado on Kona, Hawaii in ancient Lomi Lomi and Hawaiian healing practices. Auntie Margaret is proclaimed by the state of Hawaii as a "true Kahuna, a living treasure!" This was the highest level of kahuna training available in the secret art of Lomi healing! This was a privilege and an honor to attend!

In my daily work, I assist clients in the healing process through Transformative Bodywork. This extraordinary three day ritual heals the Creative spirit as well as the physical and emotional body! This is a joyous work, exciting for the client and myself as well. Together, we achieve rejuvenation and True Balance!
